Completed in 2011, the Church of the Holy Spirit on Daniel Island seats 170 in the main sanctuary in addition to the 5,000-square-foot detached Parish Hall and Education Building. The design is reminiscent of small rural worship structures, appropriate to both the scale and aesthetic of this island town. The church commands its corner site in the heart of Daniel Island with a tower that reaches for the sidewalk while the remaining structure delicately angles away from both sidewalks and is surrounded within a public open space.
