EAST COOPER BAPTIST CHURCH

Due to growth in their congregation, East Cooper Baptist Church elected to expand their educational facilities. The initial phase included a 54,000-square-foot addition to its school Palmetto Christian Academy and included a fellowship center/gymnasium to allow space for large gatherings.

Completed in 2002, the second phase included renovations to the lobby in the existing building. Due to East Cooper Baptist Church being one of the largest congregations in the area, special consideration was given to increasing corridor widths in the educational wing, creating one main artery that feeds several internal areas, and providing an area for large numbers of people to gather before and after events.
